Kamra 2.6.21 is stable
Spanish and Arabic complete, a custom report builder, MCP access roles, and a Booking Engine path for AI agents that book direct - not through OTAs. This is the release we recommend for new installs and upgrades.
What operators and builders get in 2.6.21.
Languages
- Spanish, complete. Staff UI finished and glossary-aligned. Contributed by @ernestoruiz89.
- Arabic, complete. About 3,100 missing strings added; docs at
/docs/ar/(right to left). - Staff guides also ship in Spanish at
/docs/es/.
Reports
- Custom report builder with save and email, group-by and drill-down.
- Packs for Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B and Hotel Manager - open, email, or send every Monday.
- From/To ranges on manager flash, F&B dashboard, shift report, folio history, room insights and the banquet pipeline. Pages and emails follow the reader's language.
Front desk and booking
- Book from an empty tape-chart cell; on a room move keep the price, take the new room's rate, or enter an agreed rate.
- Today room tiles show the balance due and an Extend stay action.
- International guest phone prefixes on the booking page (property country as default).
- Concurrent booking deadlock and occupancy / currency / advance-refund fixes reported by @lhertig.
Agentic AI and Booking Engine MCP
- MCP Read and MCP Manage roles, plus an AI access admin page. Agents only see the reports each role may open.
- WebMCP on your public
/book(for hotels running Kamra on their own site) so guests’ agents - Gemini, Grok, Muse, Claude, ChatGPT and others - can quote and book direct; plus headless/book/mcp. Opt-in per property. Not the channel manager; outbound ARI still updates so OTAs stop overselling. See the announcement. - Hotel directory for agents:

Direct booking page
The public /book page is moving to an OTA-style layout: sticky search, book-direct exclusive vs rack, an AI best-deal pick, and room × meal rate cards with scarcity and sold-out states. Set Book-direct exclusive % under Booking Engine settings. Same exclusive total for guests, agents and WebMCP. Full announcement: Agents book direct.
Upgrade
Pull v2.6.21 (or the :stable tag on GHCR), run bench migrate, then open Admin → System Health. Full notes on
