Should I use the Frappe Cloud Marketplace or my own cloud?
Search and install from the Frappe Cloud Marketplace if you want Frappe to host the site. Prefer Azure, AWS, Hostinger, DigitalOcean or another provider? We can provision and install Kamra on your account, or you follow the Docker guides. Same software either way: https://kamrapms.com/get-started/.
Is Kamra free to install?
The Kamra app is free under AGPL-3.0. On Frappe Cloud you pay Frappe’s site plan. On Azure, AWS or Hostinger you pay that provider for the VPS. Kamra Cloud and implementation are optional paid services from the team that builds Kamra — not feature gates.
Does Kamra charge per room?
No. Adding rooms does not make the software cost more. You pay for a server (yours, Frappe Cloud, or Kamra Cloud), optional implementation from $499, and optional annual support from $399/year — never a per-room rent.
Can I self-host a hotel PMS in India with GST?
Yes. Kamra’s India pack includes GST slabs by tariff, GSTIN invoices and GSTR-1 export. Self-host on a small VPS, install from the Frappe Cloud Marketplace, or ask us to host on Azure, AWS, Hostinger or Kamra Cloud. See https://kamrapms.com/india/.
